Why? (the straight-up version)
Danielle Davies is a wife, a mother, and a freelance writer. Who just so happened to have once been in a play with Bradley Cooper.
As a writer of articles, a book seemed like a logical next step. She began working on a manuscript called, "My Life with Bradley Cooper"...a nonfiction narrative that shows how two people can start off, literally at the same place, and then go in totally different directions…it’s a journey between there and here, with Bradley Cooper serving as a catalyst for introspection.
The photo project evolved as another element in her storytelling—placing a cardboard version of the star into the life that went in a different direction, often producing hilarious results.
And while Davies has the utmost respect and admiration for the real (as opposed to cardboard) Bradley Cooper, the photo project is simply that...a project. Complete with photo shoots, photographers, release forms and costume changes.
Thanks very much for your interest.
