Why? (the tongue-in-cheek version)
Because, friends, this is America. So why not?
The fact is, while most of us don't actually live our lives with movie stars, many of us wish we did.
And so, being a forward thinking American, I have taken the bull by the horns, the horse by the reigns, the cardboard cutout of Bradley Cooper by the shoulders, and just pretended that I do.
This is the land of the free and the brave, where all things can happen. Especially if you make them happen. Who am I to buck the system? If I want a life with Bradley Cooper, well, then...I'll just make one up.
Please note that the real life movie star, Bradley Cooper, has in no way participated, authorized or endorsed this pursuit, website, vision or hallucination.
Furthermore, this site does not accept or promote advertising, solicitation, or payment of any kind. It is simply one woman's quest to crack herself up.

Why? (the straight-up version)
Danielle Davies is a wife, a mother, and a freelance writer. Who just so happened to have once been in a play with Bradley Cooper.
As a writer of articles, a book seemed like a logical next step. She began working on a manuscript called, "My Life with Bradley Cooper"...a nonfiction narrative that shows how two people can start off, literally at the same place, and then go in totally different directions…it’s a journey between there and here, with Bradley Cooper serving as a catalyst for introspection. It is, as her daughter complains, a book without pictures. The photo project evolved as another element in her storytelling—placing a cardboard version of the star into the life that went in a different direction, often producing hilarious results. And while Davies has the utmost respect and admiration for the real (as opposed to cardboard) Bradley Cooper, the photo project is simply that...a project. Complete with photo shoots, photographers, release forms and costume changes. Thanks very much for your interest. And if you'd like information about Danielle's other, non-cardboard related projects, please visit her author website at www.danielledavies.com. Frequently Asked Questions... |
Can I use your pictures on my blog/website/magazine/newspaper?
We'd love you to use the pictures, but please link back to www.mylifewithbradleycooper.com and credit My Life with Bradley Cooper/OceanBleu Photography for the pics. Also, please let us know you've done so...we like to keep track of our media coverage. Are you in love with/obsessed with Bradley Cooper? No. While I think Bradley Cooper is an amazing actor with a great talent, he is simply the jumping off point of the story I'm telling. The photos were just one more medium in this storytelling process, in this case by inserting Bradley Cooper into the life that went into another direction. How has taking the cardboard 'Bradley Cooper' around with you everywhere affected your daily life? It hasn't. While the storytelling is based upon the idea that the Bradley Cooper cardboard cutout is participating in daily life, in reality, we don't really take it everywhere. I only have it (the cardboard) with me for photos, which are staged, professional photos. Does Bradley Cooper know you're doing this? To my knowledge, Bradley Cooper doesn't know I'm doing this. Is it your goal to meet Bradley Cooper? No, we have already met. Though I would love to catch up with him and congratulate him on his success, this has never been about meeting Bradley Cooper. Oh my gosh...what does your husband think? My husband thinks this is hysterical. He has always been totally supportive and has a tremendous sense of humor. Since the pictures have gone viral, he is particularly amused by people who think I'm actually living with a piece of cardboard! What's next? Well, I'm still working on revisions for my book, which is a humorous narrative. I plan to finish it up and try to find a publisher. |
